The 2009 Gloucester Triathlon is proud to host the Northeast Junior Development Series. The mission of Junior Development Series is to promote the sport to all girls and boys ages 13 - 19 years old. The series consists of 8 - 10 sprint triathlons taking place between Memorial Day and Labor Day. All the races are located in the Northeast Region of USA Triathlon, which includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
